There are many wonderful designers out there who take the time to create new materials, tools, techniques and amazing samples! It is very rewarding when my hands work without pain and I am able to crease, distress, punch... and through trial and error I have devised methods that work for me. I may look very funny when punching... but I get the results I want (or close to them).
Crafting with limitations and disabilities is possible. With this blog, I am creating a record to show how I am overcoming my disability and using it as a motivation to become a better crafter. I hope my story helps others who may be in a similar situation. My tools, my hands. Crafting with limitations and disabilities is frustrating and can be very painful. The most important tool we CAN use is our determination. Click on a picture on the slideshow to view an enlarged image.
Cards
We always have scraps of paper... just enough to make a card! What better way to express ourselves than with a smaller statement? Every month (just about) has a holiday, right? Well, not like we are going to send a 'Happy President's Day' card. But truly, we do not need an occasion to send a handmade card.
